The TPS2065DR is a Power Distribution Switch intended for applications where heavy capacitive loads and short-circuits are likely to be encountered. This device incorporates 70mR N-channel MOSFET power switches for power-distribution systems. Each switch is controlled by a logic enable input. Gate drive is provided by an internal charge pump designed to control the power-switch rise times and fall times to minimize current surges during switching. The charge pump requires no external components and allows operation from supplies as low as 2.7V. When the output load exceeds the current-limit threshold or a short is present, the device limits the output current to a safe level by switching into a constant-current mode, pulling the overcurrent (OCx) logic output low. When continuous heavy overloads and short-circuits increase the power dissipation in the switch, causing the junction temperature to rise, a thermal protection circuit shuts off the switch to prevent damage.

Flip Flops CMOS Logic IC Series. The 74VHC273 is an advanced high speed CMOS OCTAL D-TYPE FLIP FLOP fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. Information signals applied to D inputs are transferred to the Q outputs on the positive going edge of the clock pulse. When the CLR input is held "L", the Q outputs are at a low logic level independent of the other inputs. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5 V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage.This device can be used to interface 5 V to 3 V systems and two supply systems such as battery back up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages
